Ratings & Method

Data sources

All structured financial data (prices, financials, valuation, technical and market indicators) comes from our own Finance Platform. Web search is used only for news, filings, company information and data the Finance Platform does not provide; when used, the source and date are listed in the report’s data notes.

Every report states its data date. If the tools’ data dates differ by more than one trading day, the report says so.

Research process

Every report follows the same eight steps:

  1. Identify the ticker.
  2. Classify the analysis type (quote, technicals, valuation, news, comprehensive, multi-stock comparison, market).
  3. Pull data from the Finance Platform.
  4. Organize six dimensions: fundamentals, technicals, valuation, news, market regime and peers.
  5. Cross-check dates, prices, accounting bases and signals.
  6. Analyze within a fixed framework, quoting each model’s conclusion separately without mixing them.
  7. Form an overall judgment and the decision reference.
  8. Write the report from a standard template.

Model scores are quoted as-is. They are never recalculated, and no new scores are created outside these rules.

Decision reference: the five tiers

A decision reference is given only in comprehensive reports.

Step 1: score each core dimension using the model’s raw state only:

DimensionPositive (+1)Neutral (0)Negative (−1)
Fundamentalsstrongneutral / moderateweak / deteriorating
Technicalsbullishneutralbearish
Valuationundervalued / deeply_undervaluedfair_valueovervalued / deeply_overvalued
MarketComposite BullishNeutralBearish

The valuation score only reflects how valuation affects the overall state; it is not a trade signal. A missing dimension counts as neutral and is noted in the report.

Step 2: base tier. S is the sum of the four scores:

STier
S ≥ 3Positive
S = 2Moderately Positive
−1 ≤ S ≤ 1Neutral
S = −2Moderately Cautious
S ≤ −3Cautious

Step 3: risk adjustment. If two or more of the following risk signals are present, the tier moves down one step (at most one):

  • Technical divergence, taken only from the technical model’s divergence field
  • A high risk level from the technical model
  • Any valuation dimension rated overvalued
  • Slowing or deteriorating growth or cash-flow dimensions
  • Clearly weak market breadth, or shrinking volume
  • Confirmed, material negative news: confirmed by company filings, regulatory or court documents or several authoritative outlets, and directly affecting revenue, profit, licenses or operations

Insufficient data: if two or more core dimensions are missing, no tier is given.

Not investment advice

The decision reference summarizes the current state across dimensions. It is not a buy, sell or hold recommendation and contains no price target or position size. A high or low valuation says nothing about company quality or future price moves. Decisions should reflect your own holdings, horizon and risk tolerance.
